We are committed to preserving Happy Acres as a working farm that prioritizes environmental stewardship, aesthetics,
& community engagement.

we envisage

A lush pasture-based, diversified livestock operation that takes full advantage of the natural abundance of our native ecosystem.

Cultivating a community-supported agriculture (CSA) program and an on-site farm store that offers a wide variety of fresh and prepared foods along with other farm products.

Regular workshops, youth outdoor and environmental education classes, yoga and meditation classes, nature hikes and bird walks.

Farm-to-table dinners and seasonal community celebrations; weekend retreats and “farmstays”; workspaces in the barns for local artists and craftspeople; and even the occasional summer wedding.

Transforming the sloping green lawns into beautiful vegetable, flower and herb gardens for the community to enjoy.

Pigs and turkeys gleaning fallen fruit and nuts from a revitalized savanna-like orchard where rows of corn used to grow.
